T-Shirts

Vintage T-shirts from the 1970s and 80s often feature a mix of polyester and cotton, This makes them feel extra soft and will probably look a bit faded due to age and having been washed lots. 1990s T-shirts were mostly made in 100% cotton, they look a bit baggier and feel a bit more robust than their historical T-shirt cousins. Unlike many of our other vintage items, the “lived in” look and little imperfections can give the t-shirt personality. A cracked graphic or a hole in the armpit – can give a t-shirt patina, rather than making it feel moth-eaten and not really resellable. It all ties into the tactile sense of physically connecting to another time and place, which for us is the essence of a vintage tee.
