Killswitch Engage, who rose to fame with the 2004 release of The End of Heartache, have had success in the music industry. This album debuted at No. 21 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the RIAA in 2007 for 500,000+ shipments. Furthermore, "The End of Heartache" was nominated for a Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 2005. Additionally, the band has released a live DVD titled (Set This) World Ablaze in 2005. Killswitch Engage is no stranger to festivals such as Soundwave, Wacken Open Air, Reading and Leeds, Ozzfest, Download Festival, Rock on the Range, Rock am Ring, Mayhem Festival, Monsters of Rock, Pointfest, Knotfest, and Heavy MTL. In the U.S. alone, they have sold more than four million records and have been a notable part of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal, as well as a leader in the metalcore genre.
