In 1978, Ferré launched his eponymous womenswear brand, along with Gianfranco Ferré company. While working at Dior, he maintained his own line in Italy. His label features a more laid-back and minimalist aesthetic compared to Dior. The hallmark of his fashion designs is the use of sophisticated white shirts.
