Vintage Energie Shorts trace their roots back to the '90s and '00s, when the Italian streetwear label ENERGIE was established by Wicky Hassan. Born in Tripoli in 1955 and raised in Rome, Hassan introduced sought-after brands like Timberland, Converse, and Levi's 501 to the Italian market, igniting shopper enthusiasm. His innovative use of bold Mexican fabrics on distressed jeans set a new fashion trend, leading to the launch of the first ENERGIE store on via del Corso and the creation of the Sixty group with Renato Rossi in 1989, which also includes Miss Sixty, Killah, and Murphy & Nye.
