Julia Neigel, a German-Russian born in Siberia, spent most of her life after 1969 in Tiraspol, Moldova. By 1971, she settled in Ludwigshafen on the Rhine. Her impressive vocal range extends over four octaves and is known for its soft and powerful tones. She has ventured into all genres of pop and rock music, including Rock, Soul, Funk, Jazz, RNB, and even some classically-inspired albums. In 1982, she made her debut with the group Hopp'n Ex, but left in 1986 to become the lead singer of The Stealers, which would later become Jule Neigel & Band. During her youth, she also played on a women's handball team and even hosted radio shows.
