This Vintage Helly Hansen Jacket. Originally founded by Norwegian captain Helly Juell Hansen, who sought to shield his sailors from the harsh Nordic climate. By utilizing linseed oil on cotton canvas, he developed flexible, waterproof clothing. Following this, he and his wife Margarethe began producing "oilskin" jackets and pants in Moss, Norway.
