The raindrop camo (Strichtarn) design was developed by East Germany, this is the Vzor version which is much more advanced than the original raindrop camo. The Vzor 65 version added a motled backdrop and a type of threading can't be picked up by IR (infrared) night-vision it allows the wearer to blend in at night against IR goggle users.
